About Josephine “Arjho” Cariño Turner: Josephine Latimban Cariño Turner or “Arjho” is a half Blaan born in Landan, Polomolok, South Cotabato. She is now based in Atlanta, USA and is married to an American and a Mom of two kids. She was the former Indigenous Peoples Development Program Manager of Sarangani Province. She finished her BS in Agriculture major in Plant Pathology from the University of the Philippines at Los Baños (UPLB) and MS in Environment and Natural Resource Management major in Upland Resource Management from the University of the Philippines Open University (OPOU). She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI). She is a cultural, environmental, and good governance advocate serving non-profit organizations in Atlanta and the KafyeBlaan Empowerment, Inc. in the Philippines. Recently, she is one of the 1,987 new Climate Reality Leaders that participated and completed the Climate Reality Leadership Corps Training in Atlanta, USA held last March 14-16, 2019.
